Uebert Angel says he is number 2, is he above Constantino Chiwenga?
Maverick Spirit Embassy church leader Uebert Angel says he is number two in the country in terms of hierarchy from President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
The revelation if it is true, it means that Angel occupies a higher position than Vice President Constantino Chiwenga.
Chiwenga was the Commander of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, which removed former President Robert Mugabe from power in 2017 before being appointed Vice President.
It is widely believed that he is the man in charge of the country and is using President Mnangagwa just as the face of the government.

Angel boastfully revealed to Al Jazeera undercover journalists that ‘’I am an ambassador-at-large; I am an ambassador to 85 countries. As the special envoy, I am a representative of the President. If you then look on paper in that position, I am number two, and there is no position like that in the country.
‘’It was just one position that was never filled in. And I occupy that, it was created for me,’’ he said.
Some people are of the view that Angel, might have crossed dangerous lines that might come back to haunt him.
Others are of the opinion that the self-styled prophet might have exposed deep factionalism in the ruling party, where it is believed that Mnangagwa and Chiwenga are at war over the control of the ruling party ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The Al Jazeera documentary has exposed how gold is being smuggled out of the country by shadowy people who are coming in as investors.
According to the documentary, the people are working with Uebert Angel, and Henrietta Rushwaya and taking advantage of loopholes at Fidelity Printers and Refiners.
So far Aljazeera has published just two episodes of the four that have been advertised. Zimbabwe is said to be losing billions of dollars due to illicit financial flows in various sectors of the economy, especially agriculture, and mining.–
