Another opportunity for Scott, Mthuli Ncube, as Mnangagwa announce by-election dates #ElectionsZW

Finance and Economic Development Minister Mthuli Ncube and Scott Sakupwanya appears to have been given another chance to try earning Parliament seats.

Both Mthuli Ncube and Scott Sakupwanya were rejected by people in Cowddry Park and Mabvuku-Tafara Constituencies in the August 2023 general elections.

This is despite having gone out of their way to entice people with various gifts and initiatives such as groceries, free WIFI, refuse collection among others.

However, the recall of 16 Citizens Coalition for Change legislators by Sengezo Tshabangu, has created another way back for the Zanu PF duo.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa using Statutory Instrument 188/2023 announced that nomination court will sit on the 7th of November, while polling will take place.

The recalled legislators are current challenging their recalls in the courts, as they claim that Tshabangu does not have powers to recall them, and that they have never ceased to be members of the CCC.

It remains to be seen how the court will deal with the matter, as it is claimed that CCC has no constitution.
