200 heavily armed Police officers came with the Ministry of Mines officials to take over Mbada Diamonds operations. They switched off CCTV, switched off the radio system, and sent workers away who were sorting diamonds, leaving diamonds in the glove box. A few days after, a box containing diamonds was opened and diamonds were stolen.
