Arrested ZESN/ERC Volunteers granted $200 bail #ElectionsZW
Zimbabwe Election Support Network (ZESN) and Election Resource Centre (ERC) volunteers who were arrested on the 23rd of August have been granted US$200 bail.
The volunteers are being charged with purporting to announce 2023 general election results before the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC).
Meanwhile various election observers have condemned the arrest of the local observers arguing that it puts a dent on the credibility of elections.
